Andreea Cimbala is today one of the industry’s most recognised names among young professionals, not so much as a rising star, but as a long-established mentor. This is partly because Andreea started her career very young and with a very high level of commitment to her goal, both then and now.
But it is also due to Andreea’s own personality and philosophy that she has developed from the start: positive, energetic, ambitious and with a different vision of success combined with family. Building herself.
At the age of 18, Andreea was invited by her own brother, the now renowned top leader Iulian Cimbala, to participate in the business he had just started. Andreea immediately accepted.
Today, Andreea says that at the time she did not understand all the information, but she saw the potential of how far she could go and made the decision to commit herself fully. One thing she understood early on was that she could help many people; but in order to do so, she would have to help herself, to walk the path to show others.
Andreea comes from a humble family, the daughter of an immigrant musician who sacrificed his dreams and gave up his passion to achieve a better future for his family, even if it meant starting from scratch in a new place. Despite their efforts, the Cimbala family went through years of scarcity, an experience that marked Andreea to start working from the age of fifteen while studying.
Andreea always wanted to help the family and to build a better quality of life for herself and her children, and to make her parents proud of her as they had always encouraged her to do something bigger. She was never required to study for a career, but to dream big, to fight for her dreams and to be independent.
An established professional.
Andreea has just turned 28 years old and has already had a career spanning 10 years. In these 10 years, she has grown as a professional, as a person, has become a mentor and has co-led with her business partner Igor E. Alberts and for several years one of the most massive teams in the industry: Success4All. Andreea is also a proud mother of two children.
When Andreea looks back at her beginnings, knowing now everything she knows, she thinks she wouldn’t change a thing, but knowing she could have dreamed even bigger and much sooner.
Despite 10 years of work, Andreea still feels the thrill of seeing her name on awards and events, a triumph that is not only personal, but of the whole team. To stop getting excited, Andreea says, means that you are in a comfort zone, and that you should do something to change it. But Andreea has been evolving and taking new steps in her life so that, even though she hasn’t turned 30, she has achieved a number of accomplishments and still feels the magic of just starting out in the industry.
As for the word mentor, Andreea doesn’t feel it is a distinction or something that makes her special; it is a role you take on when you achieve certain goals that others want to achieve as well. You either learn from your mistakes or from your mentors, says Andreea, and the second option is the one that will get you where you want to be in the shortest time. But if you choose not to listen to your mentors, you will have to learn from your mistakes.
When you choose your mentor, you choose your future.
Andreea takes her role as a mentor very seriously, and likes to have daily contact with the person she is training. She understands that time is running too fast for someone starting out and that only massive and immediate action will get results.
International leadership and motherhood.
One of the historical figures that has most fascinated Andreea and influenced her life is Queen Elizabeth I of England. Her story taught Andreea that all success comes at a price, and for Elizabeth, the price to pay was to forgo marriage and raising a family.
Andreea observed how this same dilemma often presented itself to women: career vs. family, and how in many cases, women ended up choosing family. But she grew up hearing her father tell her to fight for her dreams and trust in her worthiness to achieve them.
In the early years of her career, Andreea made a conscious decision to combine the two, proving that it is not necessary to choose only one path.
This is a profession where there should be no difference between men and women; in fact, says Andreea, what she really loves about the industry is that it is one of the few professions where there is no discrimination based on gender, age, religion, culture and whoever you are you will be paid the same according to each company’s compensation plan. There are no women or men, only LEADERS.
