During the 2026 World Management Congress held in Frankfurt, Germany, the direct selling company PM-International was surprised on stage with the World Vision Award. This accolade honors its more than twenty years of steady dedication to supporting vulnerable families and children worldwide through its philanthropic initiative “PM We Care.” The award was personally presented by Christoph Hilligen, CEO of World Vision Germany.
An Exceptional Recognition for the PM We Care Initiative
This award is highly unusual and is only granted under “exceptional circumstances.” It is not presented annually, making PM-International only the third organization to receive it in the institution’s history.
The strategic partnership between PM-International and World Vision, initiated in 2003, has achieved historic milestones for social development:
- Historic donations: More than $16 million has been donated to the humanitarian organization.
- Massive sponsorship: Currently sponsoring over 8,500 children in nearly 20 countries.
- Global leadership: These figures consolidate the company as the largest corporate donor for World Vision worldwide.
“In a world where many children face growing challenges due to declining support, long-term commitment is more crucial than ever,” said Hilligen. “For over 20 years, the partnership between PM-International and World Vision has restored hope and opportunities to thousands of children. This unwavering dedication creates an impact that will last for generations.”
Program Expansion: Scholarships for Higher Education
During the event, the company also announced plans to expand its community work. In addition to traditional child sponsorships, the company will launch a scholarship program focused on 18-year-olds who finish their sponsorship period, facilitating their access to university studies and professional opportunities.
Vicki Sorg, the company’s charity ambassador, highlighted the vision for this new stage:
“We want to extend our support beyond child sponsorships and help make higher education more accessible within communities. Our goal is to empower young people to reach their full potential, lead positive changes, and contribute to the sustainable development of their environments.”
