Network marketing company specialising in personal care products donates 800 million meals to children worldwide.
Nu Skin Enterprises Inc., a beauty and wellness company, announced that it has reached its goal of providing 800 million meals to children around the world. This initiative has been in place since 2002 through the Nourish the Children (NTC) programme.
As a result, children in more than 65 countries have been fed with VitaMeal, a food high in vitamins and minerals provided by one of NTC’s charity partners, after NuSkin customers and employees purchased and donated bags of food.
NuSkin CEO Steven J. Lund said the company never imagined the impact this initiative would have 20 years ago when it began. He says the company’s combined efforts have positively impacted the lives of millions of children, and he expects this impact to continue for millions more.
