Marta Villa, Director at LifeWave, is a leader in Network Marketing with a people-centered and approachable leadership style.
After a career in social service and real estate, she found in this industry what she had been searching for years: a profession that allows her to achieve financial freedom while still having time to dedicate to her family.
Today, she leads a team of over 150 people across multiple countries, driving not just business growth but life transformations. Her philosophy: “Success is built when we grow together.”
From Social Work to Entrepreneurship
Before Network Marketing, Marta ran a foundation that taught trades to vulnerable youth and managed a real estate agency. Her life took a turn in 2020, during the pandemic, when she met Juan Carlos Garduño. He introduced her to the potential of network marketing, showing her how it could offer the flexibility to prioritize what she values most: her family.
“My ‘why’ has always been my children and my husband: to create memories, travel together and be present in their daily lives,” she confesses. For her, Network Marketing has become more than just an economic opportunity: it is a tool for reshaping her lifestyle.

Overcoming Fears
At the beginning, Marta faced common insecurities: fear of rejection, public speaking and even appearing on camera. “I struggled a lot with presenting via video conference,” she recalls. To overcome these fears, she immersed herself in books like “Think and Grow Rich”, took digital marketing courses and attended training sessions with neurobehavior expert Joseph McLendon III.
Through continuous practice, she built confidence, and today, she hosts live broadcasts with ease and trains her team in effective communication.
Leadership Rooted in Values
Marta leads with a balance of warmth and firmness. She inherited values from her family: discipline, resilience, honesty, loyalty and hard work: which have been crucial in both her career and in adapting to the individual needs of her team.
This approach has transformed shy members into confident leaders. “What has impressed me the most is seeing my team members go from uncertainty and self-doubt to becoming strong leaders capable of guiding others on their own path to success,” she says.
Achievements and Lessons in LifeWave
In just five years, Marta reached the Champion rank (equivalent to Diamond) in her previous company and built a global network spanning multiple countries. However, the journey wasn’t always easy: an early mistake taught her the importance of setting boundaries and choosing allies who share her values. “Not everyone has the same vision, commitment or values, so selecting the right partners is essential,” she advises.
Currently, she plans to expand her team into new countries through personalized mentoring and in-person events that foster a sense of community. She also aims to merge her passion for real estate with Network Marketing, ensuring financial stability for her family and parents.
Marta’s ultimate goal is clear: “I want to be remembered as someone who inspired others to discover their potential, to be treated as people of value, to shift their mindset and to transform their lives through entrepreneurship.”
As for the future of the industry, she predicts: “The industry is evolving toward a model that prioritizes leadership, education and technological innovation. Those who adapt to these changes and continuously evolve will be the ones who achieve lasting success.”
With five years in the field, 150 lives impacted in just two and a half months at LifeWave and a clear vision, Marta proves that success: when built on purpose and community: goes beyond mere numbers.
