The path to wealth and global impact rarely follows the script society lays out. More often than not, those who achieve extraordinary success do not walk a road that has already been paved. They build one of their own. That is exactly what Hilde Rismyhr Sæle did. She chose to leave legal codes and university lecture halls behind in favor of the dynamic world of direct selling, becoming one of the most influential figures in network marketing across Northern Europe and beyond. Here’s her story.
The Awakening of a Millionaire Mindset
Born in Snarøya (Oslo, Norway) in 1980, Hilde grew up in a family deeply rooted in the healthcare sector. From her parents, she inherited two fundamental values: unwavering discipline and the importance of hard work.
However, it was a single event at the age of eleven that ignited her financial ambition. She discovered Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill. That early reading shaped a mindset centered on success, self-reliance and leadership.
In the late 1990s, Hilde enrolled at the prestigious Faculty of Law at the University of Oslo. Her future seemed clearly mapped out: she would become a successful attorney. But at the age of twenty, life introduced her to a disruptive alternative: network marketing.
Captivated by the concepts of leverage and personal development, she made a bold decision two years later. She left law school behind to pursue entrepreneurship full time.
The early years were far from easy. As is often the case with great success stories, the first four years proved especially challenging. Working part-time, facing rejection and refining her communication skills, Hilde persevered.
Between 2002 and 2004, she developed her expertise as a distributor in several direct selling companies, learning systematic duplication strategies from legendary mentors such as Randy Gage and Brian Klemmer. Those formative years laid the foundation for her future leadership in the field.
The Birth of Zinzino and the First Strategic Pivot
In 2005, equipped with experience and a clear vision, Hilde joined forces with her husband, Ørjan Sæle, to co-found what would become their life’s work: Zinzino. The company was launched in Norway with a modest yet innovative concept for its time: a subscription model featuring premium Belgian-French coffee from the Rombouts brand.
The original objective was to build a strong network of independent distributors whose primary compensation depended on customer acquisition and retention, while also giving them the opportunity to become shareholders in the company.
The coffee business grew steadily, but the couple’s larger vision was still waiting for its defining catalyst. Between 2010 and 2012, Ørjan experienced a personal health crisis. Rather than retreating, Hilde led a complete transformation of the company’s strategy. She recognized that the traditional wellness market was fundamentally broken: people were taking supplements based on guesswork.
In 2012, Zinzino made a decisive move by acquiring BioActive Foods, a Norwegian company specializing in fatty acid profile testing.
From that moment on, Hilde spearheaded the company’s transition toward personalized nutrition backed by clinical testing. With the introduction of flagship products such as the BalanceTest, an at-home blood test and BalanceOil+, Zinzino transformed the industry by providing consumers with measurable biometric results.
Climbing to the Top of the Industry
With its new scientific direction, the company’s expansion became unstoppable. Hilde assumed the role of Global President, a position that kept her far from the executive boardroom and firmly in the field, coaching and developing large organizations known as A-Teams.
Her business philosophy has always been clear: the compensation plan must prioritize the end customer over internal consumption, protecting the company’s ethical reputation.
“When everyone gets the dosage they need, everyone gets the results they deserve.” — Zinzino philosophy.
The results of this transparent, customer-centered approach established the company across Europe, the Americas and Asia. Zinzino AB evolved into a strong multinational corporation listed on the NASDAQ stock exchange, reporting outstanding financial growth that exceeded 50% annually in 2025.
On a personal level, Hilde and her husband jointly own the family holding company, Saele Invest & Consulting AS, which manages their business assets and reflects their disciplined approach to long-term wealth management.

Hilde Rismyhr Sæle’s impact on the global business community has not gone unnoticed by the industry’s leading organizations.
- Direct Selling Hall of Fame (2019): She was formally inducted into the Direct Selling Hall of Fame, a lifetime honor recognizing her integrity, career achievements and contributions to the profession.
- Bravo Leadership Award (2025): Direct Selling News presented Hilde and Ørjan Sæle with this prestigious award in recognition of their twenty years of visionary leadership at Zinzino, coinciding with the company’s twentieth anniversary celebration in Oslo.
- 5-Star Global President Rank: Hilde achieved the highest executive rank within the company’s compensation plan, establishing herself as a role model for thousands of women entrepreneurs around the world.
The Present, Philanthropy and the Pursuit of New Goals
Based in Oslo with her husband and their three children, Hilde remains fully active in the field heading into 2026. In addition to leading advanced internal training programs and speaking at events such as the Mastermind Event, her long-term vision is ambitious: building one million active subscriptions, welcoming 100,000 new business partners and ultimately improving the health of 100 million people.
Her financial success is also reflected in a deep commitment to giving back. Through her sales organization, she has funded the construction of at least three schools in India, providing education and a brighter future for more than 1,100 underprivileged children.
Hilde Rismyhr Sæle’s journey demonstrates that true leadership is not about avoiding storms or unexpected turns. It is about emerging from them with greater vision and resilience. She left law school to build a global health and financial freedom company, proving that when purpose is clear, success is no longer a matter of chance. It becomes the natural outcome.
