Avon Strengthens Its Commitment To Gender Equality In Latin America

Avon, a leading company in the beauty and network marketing sector, has announced a new campaign in Latin America focused on gender equality. The initiative aims to empower women entrepreneurs and raise awareness about the importance of equity in all areas of life.

The campaign, titled “Women Who Inspire”, includes training workshops on leadership, finance and digital marketing for women within Avon’s distributor network. Additionally, the company has partnered with local organizations to provide psychological and legal support to women in vulnerable situations.

“At Avon, we believe that women’s empowerment is key to building stronger and more equitable communities. This campaign is a reflection of our commitment to the women of Latin America,” stated Angela Cretu, CEO of Avon.

In countries like Mexico, Colombia and Brazil, the initiative has had a significant impact, benefiting more than 10,000 women in its first three months. Furthermore, Avon has allocated a percentage of sales from its Empower product line to fund education and entrepreneurship programs for women.
