In partnership with the Singapore Economic Development Council, and in line with its expansion plans in Asia, the personal and home care company announced the creation of a Business Innovation Hub in Singapore.
The Business Innovation Hub will create 60 jobs and is expected to provide access to Singaporean talent to innovate Amway’s products and drive the brand globally. The aim is for staff members to focus on understanding the human body and improving its health with an “East meets West” approach, thereby improving products and the user experience.
Amway will also work within the Innovation Hub on the creation and optimisation of digital product designs, data science, live e-commerce, supply chain and business model integration for a holistic improvement of the company.
The location of the Business Innovation Hub is not random: by choosing Singapore as the hub, the company seeks to accelerate innovative problem solving, drive business and leverage cross-functional expertise in order to provide users with products that meet their needs across the board.
In the words of Asha Gupta, Amway’s Asia Regional President and Head of Strategy and Corporate Development: “Amway is a magnet for entrepreneurs; and the teams at the Hub will help our Amway Business Owners (ABOs) advance our global commitment to the growing health and wellness needs of consumers in this exciting region.”
