Billionaire Elon Musk’s artificial intelligence startup xAI sued Apple and ChatGPT maker OpenAI on Monday in a US federal court in Texas, accusing them of illegally conspiring to thwart competition in artificial intelligence (AI).
Musk had threatened earlier this month to sue Cupertino, California-based Apple, saying in a post on X that “Apple is behaving in a way that makes it impossible for any AI company other than OpenAI to reach #1 on the App Store.”
