From Networker to Corporate Executive

Originally from Colombia, Bernardo Valencia began his journey in network marketing 22 years ago. During his first seven years as a networker, he demonstrated an exceptional ability to build organizations of over 100,000 people and bring emerging companies into the Latin American market.

However, his vision was always broader. With a degree in business administration and a specialization in marketing and finance, he made a strategic shift in 2010 by moving into the corporate world.

“I am a business administrator by profession. I have a specialization in marketing and finance. But network marketing got into my veins.”

His first major challenge was as Director of Latam for Gano Excel, a Malaysian company that, under his leadership, achieved “exuberant” sales figures in the region. Bernardo attributes this achievement to the implementation of educational systems designed to simplify and duplicate processes, enabling anyone, regardless of their background, to obtain results. “The magic word is duplicable,” he emphasizes.

He later replicated this model in Brazil’s number one network marketing company, expanding it to five countries in South and Central America in just three and a half years.

XPro: A Purpose-Driven Project

The move to XPro was no coincidence. Bernardo discovered the company through its current CEO, Gorka Buces, with whom he had previously collaborated. After visiting the headquarters in Dubai and diving deeper into the company’s values, he was captivated by XPro’s proposal: cutting-edge digital products and educational services.

“I think it’s a wonderful challenge to bring these products and services to the Latin American market,” he shares.

As Director of Latam, his goals are centered on three pillars:

  • Regional expansion (in countries like Mexico, Colombia and Brazil),
  • Network growth with effective duplication (through a structured educational system),
  • Product activation to enable long-term results.

“My main contribution to XPro is to professionally educate all our distributors to do this project the right way and if it’s done the right way, the right results will follow,” he emphasizes, noting that only 5% of companies in the U.S. have robust educational systems.

For Bernardo, XPro symbolizes empowerment and continuous learning. “The most powerful asset today is education,” he states, highlighting his transition from physical to digital products. His distinctive contribution lies in professionalizing network marketing by removing barriers through accessible methodologies.
